GREEN TOMATO PIE 
Make your favorite crust for a 2-crust pie.

FILLING:

3 tbsp. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. vinegar or 3 tbsp. lemon juice
3 c. tomatoes, sliced thin

Sift all dry ingredients together. Sprinkle a little on bottom crust. Put in tomatoes; sprinkle with balance of dry mix. Dot with butter; add vinegar. Place top crust over filling. Vent for steam.

Bake about 1 hour (10 minutes at 400 degrees - reduce to 350 degrees to finish baking.
