HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
2 tbsp. unflavored gelatin
3 c. milk
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
6 eggs
1 1/2 qts. light cream
1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
5 tsp. vanilla

Soften gelatin in 1/2 cup cold milk. Scald 1 1/2 cups milk and stir into gelatin mixture until gelatin dissolves. Add sugar and salt, then 1 cup milk. Beat eggs at high speed for five minutes. Add cream, pudding, vanilla and then gelatin mixture. Freeze immediately in ice cream freezer. This recipe does not get hard, but freezes to Dairy Queen consistency.
