BROILED TOMATOES PARMESAN 
6 medium-size tomatoes
Pepper
Dry basil
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp. butter

Cut tomatoes in half crosswise. Sprinkle cut surfaces with pepper and basil, then sprinkle evenly with cheese and dot with butter. Place tomatoes, cut side up on rack of broiler pan. Broil about 6 inches below heat until lightly browned (3 to 4 minutes). Makes 6 servings.
