BROILED TOMATOES WITH DILL SAUCE 
1 c. dairy sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise
4 tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 tsp. snipped fresh dill weed
1/2 tsp. salt
8 lg. firm ripe tomatoes

Combine ingredients, mixing well. Chill. Core tomatoes and cut in half crosswise. Season cut surface with salt and pepper. Dot with butter. Broil cut side up, 3 inches from heat, about 5 minutes. Don't turn. Spoon cold dill sauce over hot tomatoes.
