HUMMING BIRD CAKE 
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 (18 or 20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 or 3 med. bananas, mashed

GLAZE:

1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/8 c. water

Mix by hand the flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, sugar, oil, eggs and pineapple. Then add nuts and banana and mix again. Pour into a tube pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Leave in pan for 1 hour before removing. For the glaze, bring to boil the corn syrup and water, and pour over cold cake.
