HOLIDAY CRANBERRY DESSERT 
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 c. well-drained fresh cranberries
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. cream

Sift together 1 cup sugar, flour and baking powder. Add milk, 2 tablespoons melted butter and cranberries (dry cranberries first). Mix well, bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cool and take out of pan.

Cream Butter Topping: Melt 1/2 cup butter. Add 1 cup sugar and 3/4 cup cream in saucepan. Cook 10 minutes. Serve over slices of cranberry bread. P.S. Must use butter in this recipe. Can reheat butter sauce. Rich and wonderful!
