KIELBASA APPETIZER | |
2 lb. kielbasa, cut into 1/2 inch slices Approx 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 can pineapple chunks in unsweetened juice (save approx. 1/4 c.) Reserve pineapple chunks Place kielbasa in microwave-safe bowl. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over meat; add 1/4 cup pineapple juice. Toss mixture until pieces are well coated. Cover bowl loosely with Saran wrap. Microwave on high approximately 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat if necessary; until kielbasa is cooked. Arrange kielbasa slices on your favorite tray; placing pineapple chunks uniformly. Pour remaining brown sugar sauce into small bowl. You may also serve with mustard and horseradish (use toothpicks). |
