TEXAS CASSEROLE 
1 medium onion (chopped)
1 lb. ground beef
1 can herb tomato sauce
2 tsp. sugar
1 pkg. elbow noodles (boiled)
8 oz cream cheese (soften)
4 oz sour cream
6 to 8 American cheese slices

Brown meat and onions. Add salt, pepper, herb sauce and sugar. Mix sour cream and cream cheese together. Place noodles first in casserole dish, the meat mixture then cream cheese mixture. Keep layering, top with American cheese slices.

Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes. This dish will make 2 medium-sized casseroles.
