AMERICAN CHOP SUEY 
2 lbs. chop suey meat
1 lb. round steak
5 lg. onions
1 bunch celery
Soy sauce
Bead molasses

Put 2 tablespoons oil in fry pan and add meats - salt and pepper on it. Fry until brown. Start 2 quarts of water to heat in large kettle. Bring to a boil. When meat is good and brown, add to the boiling water. Boil for 20 minutes. Slice 5 large onions and 1 bunch celery. After meat has boiled 20 minutes, add these ingredients in kettle. Add 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons Bead molasses, and 3 level tablespoons sugar. Let boil slowly for 1 1/2 hours. Serve over rice.
