2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 egg yolks
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. hot mashed potatoes
2 c. flavor

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Makes 3 layer cake.

ICING:

1 lb. box confectioners sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. coffee - liquid

Mix together.
