TIJUANA TORTE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
12 corn tortillas
1 lb. grated cheddar cheese

Brown beef and onion. Add tomatoes, sauce, chilies, and taco mix. Simmer 15 minutes. Place small amount of meat mix in a 9"x13" pan. Place 2 tortillas side by side on meat. Top each tortilla with some meat and cheese. Repeat until each stack contains 6 tortillas. Bake, covered tightly, at 350 degrees about 30 minutes.
