OVEN CRISP FRIED CHICKEN &
BISCUITS
 
1 c. Bisquick
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. shortening
1 cut-up frying chicken, 2 1/2 to 3 lbs.

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix Bisquick and seasonings in paper bag. Place a few pieces of chicken skin side down in 13 x 9 x 2 inch oblong pan in melted shortening. Bake 45 minutes.

Turn chicken over and push to one end of pan or to one side. Place canned biscuits in single layer on opened side in pan. Bake 15 minutes or until biscuits are lightly done.
