PINEAPPLE DESSERT 
2 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1/4 tsp. salt

For pastry cut in like pie pastry. Pat in a 9 x 13 inch pan with fingers. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool before filling.

FILLING:

1 lg. can crushed pineapple, juice included
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. corn starch
2 pkgs. Dream whip or Riches whip topping

Mix pineapple, juice included with water. Pour into a large sauce pan. Add sugar; bring to a boil, remove from heat. Beat eggs and add to pineapple mixture. Add corn starch to hot mixture; bring to a boil. Quickly remove from heat and immediately pour into shell. Cover with dream whip made according to the directions, or you can use 2 cartons Riches whip topping when filling is cool.
