2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix flour and sugar in a large bowl; set aside.

Bring butter, Crisco, cocoa and water to a boil in saucepan. Pour over sugar and flour in bowl and add remaining ingredients. Mixture will be thin. Pour into oblong pan, 13"x9"x2", and bake 25 minutes at 400 degrees.

ICING:

To be done while cake is hot! 1 stick butter 4 tbsp. cocoa 6 tbsp. milk 1 box confectioners' sugar

In a saucepan bring vanilla, butter, cocoa and milk to a boil. Add confectioners' sugar and mix. Pour over hot cake.
