APPLE CRISP 
4 to 6 lg. baking apples
3/4 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
6 tbsp. butter, at room temperature

Place all ingredients, except apples, into a medium mixing bowl and mix until crumbly. Set aside. Core, peel and slice enough apples to fill 8 or 9 inch square baking dish. Sprinkle mixture over apples and bake until topping is crisp, about 30 minutes.
