SKILLET COOKIES 
2 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
2 sticks butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. dark brown sugar
4 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1 c. angel flake coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. nuts
Powdered sugar

Melt in skillet 2 sticks butter, 1 cup light brown sugar and 1 cup dark brown sugar; bring to a boil over medium heat. Add dates and cook 6 minutes after it comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Add 4 cups Rice Krispies, 2 cups nuts, 1 cup coconut and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Use teaspoon roll into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
