BARBECUED SHORT RIBS 
3 lb. short ribs of beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. sliced celery
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Brown short ribs on all sides in heavy kettle; pour off fat. Add 1/2 cup water, onion, celery and seasonings. Cover and simmer 2 hours or until tender, turning meat several times and adding more water, if necessary. Makes 4 servings.
