BARBECUE SHORT RIBS | |
2 1/2 lb. short ribs of beef 2 tbsp. oil or shortening 3/4 c. water 1 1/2 c. tomato juice 1/3 c. vinegar 1 env. Italian salad dressing mix Brown meat in oil in skillet, turn frequently. Place in shallow baking pan, add water. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Cover and bake 1 hour or longer. Baste 2 or 3 times until tender. Good served with cooked rice. Makes 4 servings. |
