LEANN JOHNSON'S FAMOUS APPLE
DESSERT
 
1 1/4 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt

Combine ingredients for base. Mix until crumbly. Press in 9 x 13 pan. Place 7 cups of apples on base and sprinkle with cinnamon.

CRUNCH TOP:

1 c. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter

Make crunch top. blend until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until apples are tender and top is brown. When cool make 1 small package of instant vanilla pudding. Let stand about 1 minute then pour over dessert. Store in refrigerator. When ready to serve top with whipped cream.
