APPLE CIDER APPLE PIE 
1 c. apple cider
2/3 c. sugar
6 c. sliced apples
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. water
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Oleo

Combine cider, sugar, spices and apples. Bring to a boil, cook until apples are tender. Drain reserved syrup. Add enough more cider to make 1 1/3 cups. Return syrup to pan. Blend flour and water and add to apples. Cook until thick. Pour into prepared pie crust and dot with butter. Add top crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

Very good and moist.
