WORLD'S BEST COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. salad oil
1 c. crushed cornflakes
1 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. pecans
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla flavor

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg, mixing well, then salad oil and vanilla flavor, mixing well. Add oats, cornflakes, coconut and nuts, stirring well.

In separate bowl combine flour, soda and salt, mixing well. Form into balls the size of small walnuts. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped in water. Bake 12 minutes. Allow to cool on cookie sheets before removing.
