1/2 c. melted butter or oil
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten separately
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. boiling water with 1/2 tsp. baking soda in it
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

This makes a fairly large cake or cupcakes. The riper the bananas the better the flavor.
