BUFFET BEAN SALAD | |
1 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 c. water 2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. salt Boil these together for 5 to 10 minutes. Cool. 1 can lg. butter lima beans 3 stalks celery, cut in sm. pieces 6 green onions, cut up 1 can kidney beans 1 can green beans 1 can wax beans 1 can green lima beans Rinse kidney beans and butter limas. Put in colander and drain all vegetables. Pour syrup over all and marinate in refrigerator at least 24 hours before using. Keeps well in refrigerator and flavor improves. Serves 12 or more. |
