FLAKY NO ROLL PIE DOUGH | |
1 1/2 c. sifted flour 1/2 c. Mazola oil 1 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. cold milk Sift dry ingredients into pie pan. Combine oil and milk; whip with fork and pour at once into flour mixture. Mix with fork until flour is completely dampened. Press evenly and firmly with fingers to line bottom of pan. Then press dough up to line sides and partly cover rim - press to uniform thickness; flute edge - do not use a high flute. BAKED SHELL: prick entire surface. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Cool, then fill. UNBAKED SHELL; : fill - bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees, then reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees and bake until filling tests done. |
