WALNUT CRESCENTS 
1 c. soft butter (butter makes it much better)
1/4 c. confectioners sugar
1 1/2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. unsifted flour
1 c. chopped walnuts

Cream butter and confectioners sugar. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Shape in rolls about 1/2 inch in diameter and cut into 1 inch pieces. Put on cookie sheet and pull ends down slightly to form crescents. Bake at 375 degrees about 15 minutes. Roll in confectioners sugar while hot and again while cool.
