TOFFEE COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. rum extract
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chocolate chips
Nuts, chopped

Mix all ingredients into dough and put 2 hours into refrigerator. It will be easier to handle. Use 11 x 15 inch pan. Spread it in ungreased pan. Press dough flat. Bake at 350 degrees until brown (light in color) for 10 to 15 minutes. Melt the chocolate chips on top of warm dough after you took it out of oven, spread all over it. Sprinkle top with chopped nuts. Cut while hot into squares.
