CRESCENT CHEESEBURGERS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chili sauce
3 tbsp. dry onion soup mix
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper
1 can (8 oz.) refrigerated crescent rolls
4 slices American cheese

Brown ground beef and drain. Stir in chili sauce, soup mix, salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes. Separate crescents into 8 triangles. Spoon beef mixture over triangle. Roll up starting at the shortest side. Cut cheese slices into half (at a diagonal) and place over crescent. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-17 minutes. You can substitute refrigerator biscuits for crescents. In this case, cook for 10-12 minutes.
