CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. coconut
1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips
1/2 c. pecans

In bowl stir together flour, baking soda and salt. In large bowl beat at low butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla; beat until well blended. Add flour and mix; beat until blended. Stir in coconut, chops and nuts. Drop by tablespoon 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
