MACARONI AND CHEESE 
2 c. macaroni, cooked
2-3 slices firm white bread
8 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/4 c. flour
2 c. milk
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (10 oz.) pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

Crumb the bread; add 4 tablespoons melted butter and Parmesan cheese; toss well. Set aside. Melt remaining butter in 3 quart saucepan. Add onion; cook for 3 minutes. Stir in flour. Gradually stir in milk, mustard, and pepper. Stirring constantly until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from heat. Stir in Cheddar cheese until melted. Add macaroni and toss to coat. Spoon into 2 quart casserole. Top evenly with bread crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve immediately. Makes 8 servings.
