CHRISTMAS PICKLES 
1 qt. jar kosher dills
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. onion flakes
1 tsp. celery seed
3 tbsp. vinegar

Drain pickles and discard liquid. Mix dry ingredients. Slice pickles lengthwise into quarters. As you pack into jar, add remaining ingredients. Refrigerate. Shake jar often for one week.
