CHINESE BARBECUE SPARERIBS | |
4 lbs. spareribs 1 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. water 3 tbsp. red wine 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. salt (if desired) 1 clove garlic, mashed Score the meat between the ribs, but do not cut all the way through. Place the meat in a large bowl. Combine ingredients and pour over the ribs. Let stand 1 hour, turning once. Remove the meat from the marinade. Reserve the liquid. Place the ribs in oven for 1 1/2 hours, at 375 degrees. Turn the ribs frequently and brush with marinade (liquid). |
