CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 lb. ground meat
3 strips bacon, cut up
1 med. onion
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
1/2 c. onion tops and parsley
1 c. uncooked rice
1 egg
3 cloves garlic
Red pepper to taste
1 can tomato paste

Mix together all except tomato paste. Use 1/2 can of tomato paste in medium mixture and reserve rest to add to water. To steam the rolls, steam 12 or 15 large cabbage leaves in hot water for 5 minutes until can handle to roll up.

Place open end down and add water and tomatoes. Cook on medium heat, 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Serves 6 to 8.
