SQUASH CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. squash
1 med. onion, chopped
3/4 c. grated cheese
Pepper and salt to taste
1/4 c. milk or cream
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. grated cheese
1/2 c. crushed crackers

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 1 - 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Cook squash and onion in small amount of boiling water, salted; cook until tender.

Drain well and combine with remaining ingredients, except 1/4 cup grated cheese and the crushed crackers. Place in dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese and the crackers on top. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
