CHEESE DROP BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. lard
3/4 c. milk
1 c. grated cheese

First, sift the flour then measure, add baking powder, salt and sift together several times. Add grated cheese. Cut in shortening. Add milk all at once and stir carefully until all flour is dampened. Stir hard until a soft dough is formed. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in a hot oven for about 15 minutes at 450 degrees.
