POUND CAKE 
2 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. butter Crisco
9 lg. eggs
3 c. Swans Down cake flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. whiskey

Mix Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix salt into flour. Last add vanilla, lemon and whiskey. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 275 degrees.
