BEEF RICE 
1 c. uncooked rice
6 tbsp. butter, cut into pats
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can onion soup
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef consomme or bouillon

Place rice in casserole dish. Place pats of butter over rice. Add mushrooms on top. Pour in the 2 cans of soup. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, uncovered until liquid is absorbed. Good with roast beef. Reheats well.
