BEEF LUAU 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. steak sauce

Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Shape into six patties and brown well on both sides in frying pan. Remove from pan. Make sauce in frying pan.

SAUCE:

1 (8 oz.) can chunk pineapple and juice
1 (14 oz.) can beef broth
1/4 c. prime choice steak sauce, or your choice of sauce
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1/8 tsp. ginger
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 orange, sliced very thin
1 green pepper, cut into strips

Drain pineapple chunks, reserving 1/4 cup juice. Combine juice with beef broth and steak sauce. Mix cornstarch and water to make a paste. Stir into broth mixture. Add ginger and brown sugar. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture becomes transparent. Return patties to sauce and cook 15 minutes. Add pineapple, orange slices, and green pepper. Cover and cook until tender crisp. Serve with steamed rice.
