BARBECUED COCKTAIL SAUSAGE
APPETIZERS
 
2 to 3 lbs. cocktail sausages or cocktail franks
1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
1 (11 oz.) jar Heinz chili sauce

Use either crockpot or pan on stove. Crock pot is good as sausages can just remain in crockpot for serving and remain hot until eaten. Combine grape jelly and chili sauce, warm and stir until smooth. Add sausages or franks and stir until all are covered with sauce. After hot, simmer on low heat for an hour, or much longer if desired. The longer they simmer, the better they taste. If cooked uncovered, the sauce with be thicker; if covered, sauce will be thinner. It's a matter of preference.
