CHOCOLATE SNOWFLAKE COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. 10X sugar

Combine first three ingredients in a large bowl. Beat on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add about 1/4 of dry mixture at a time to the chocolate mixture, mixing well after each addition. Cover and chill dough at least 2 hours. Shape dough into 1" balls and roll in 10X sugar. Place cookies 2" apart on greased sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Yield: about 8 dozen cookies.
