2 c. whole milk
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix and stir over medium heat to boil. Cook until it looks like it will thicken. Then pour into a baked pie shell. Double recipe for 2 pies.
