1/2 c. Crisco or butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. melted chocolate chips
1 heaping c. all-purpose flour

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat eggs well and add to first mixture. Mix in melted chocolate chips, (sweet or semi-sweet). Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Add alternately with 3/4 cup milk. Add vanilla last and mix well.

Bake in greased and floured cake pans 25 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Spread with marshmallow icing.
