STRAWBERRY DESSERT | |
1 c. flour 1/2 c. melted butter 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts FILLING: 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries or 2 c. sliced fresh strawberries 2 egg whites 1 c. granulated sugar 1/2 pt. whipping cream (whip cream & keep in refrigerator to use later) 2 tbsp. lemon juice Mix together the crust ingredients and place 2/3's of the crumbs in a 9 x 13 inch Pyrex dish. Sprinkle remaining 1/3 of crumbs in a shallow baking pan. Bake both pans at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. (The 1/3 crumbs in small pan will be used for topping later.) |
