TUNA NOODLE CASSEROLE 
8 oz. noodles, uncooked
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
1 (12 oz.) can tuna, drained
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sliced celery
1 c. frozen peas
1 tsp. salt
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can soup (cream of celery or cream of mushroom)
6 oz. Cheddar or Colby cheese, grated
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
2 tbsp. butter

Cook noodles as directed on package, drain; set aside. Saute onion in butter until yellow. Combine onion, tuna, mayonnaise, celery, peas and salt in a large bowl. Set aside.

In a small pot over a low flame, heat soup and cheese until cheese is melted.

Combine noodles and cheese/soup in a large bowl. Add tuna mixture to noodle mixture. Turn into a 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and dot with butter. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
