CHERRY CHEESE MUFFINS 
1 pkg. (17 1/4 oz.) frozen puff pastry, thawed
2 1/2 c. sweet cherries, pitted & halved
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. grated orange peel

CHEESE FILLING:

1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. orange juice

EGG GLAZE:

1 Egg Beater
1 tbsp. water

Roll each pastry sheet to 15 x 10 inch rectangle. Cut each sheet into 6 (5 x 5 inch) squares. Arrange in muffin pan. Combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch and orange peel; mix. Fill pastry with 3 to 4 tablespoons cheese filling. Divide cheery mixture evenly and spoon over cheese filling. Pull corners of pastry to center. Pinch to partially seal. Brush with egg glaze. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
