FRUIT COBBLER (FRESH OR CANNED) 
Fill oblong baking dish 1/2 full of sliced fruit or berries. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar to taste.

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. slat
1 tsp. baking powder

Stir in 1 beaten egg. Put over fruit. melt 1 cube butter and pour over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes or until brown.
