CANNED PEAR BUTTER 
1 c. cooked pear pulp
dash of cloves
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
12 packets Equal sweetener

You will also need 1 (8-ounce) canning jar.

Use canning jar with two-piece lid and prepare according to manufacturer's directions.

Prepare pear pulp according to home canning guide. Omit sugar. Measure pulp. Add spices and Equal to pulp. Bring to boil. Pour into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch head space. Adjust lids and rings. Process 5 minutes in boiling water bath. (See home canning guide.) Remove jars immediately after processing or freeze in clean containers. Store in a very cool place or refrigerate.
