EASTER BASKET DESSERT | |
2 egg whites 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar Beat whites until frothy. Add and beat in slightly the vanilla, cream of tartar, and salt. Gradually add sugar, beating well until stiff peaks are formed. Drop 9 mounds on paper-lined sheet. Hollow out to form shells. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour or until dry. Remove and turn up side down on same pan. Return to oven 5 minutes to complete drying. Cool completely. 45 calories each. FILLING: 1/4 c. sherbet 65 calories. |
