Butter Saltine crackers 2 sticks butter 1 c. sugar 12 oz. bag Hershey's bits Crushed walnuts Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spread with a thin layer of butter. Add saltines. Melt 2 sticks of butter. Add 1 cup sugar and boil for 3 minutes. Pour over the saltines and bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove from oven, pour Hershey's bits on top, let melt and spread with a spoon. Sprinkle crushed walnuts on top. Put in refrigerator for 1-2 hours and break into pieces. |
