1 c. vinegar
1 lump butter
1 egg, well beaten
Dry mustard
1/2 tsp. flour
Salt & pepper

Put vinegar and butter in top of double boiler until butter is melted, then add other ingredients after they have been mixed together. Cook until thick to suit.
