1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
10 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. paprika

Add to double boiler and dissolve all ingredients; stir well. Place over double boiler and continue stirring until lukewarm. Add little bit at a time to grated cabbage with mayo to taste. Use just enough of dressing until you get the proper flavor. Usually 1/2 the mix for a small head, all the mix for a large head. Also grate in 1 small onion with the cabbage.
